Anyone seen Monguse?
Hi,
Yesterday Jester told me that Monguse is the person of choice when it comes to 308th FG. Well, i need references for skinning Robert J. Goebel's P-51B flown on 29. May 1943 when achieving his 1st aerial victory.
I need this skin to make a screenshot edit which will later be printed and eventually signed by him.
I did the same for Frank W. Klibbe (56th FG).
If someone has contact to Monguse could you please forward him my question?
thanks, Simplex

Re: Anyone seen Monguse?
Ahh
thanks Serval! glad you found me. Now I am really impressed with this fine comunity!
I really hope you can find some information regarding Goebel's 1st ride..
The other planes he flew already have been shown too often in paintings so I decided to use the "B"
I know there is one book about the 308th FG with loads of profiles and, of course, "Mustang Ace" Goebel'S book about being a P-51 pilot. Pitty these books are not available here, as well as "Herky" Green'S book. I have to order them via amazon.com but that takes bloody time.
Anywas, i really hope we'll find out
S! Simplex
