Ugo in Japan
As some of you may know forum-member and aviationgraphic.com owner Ugo was visiting Japan when last weeks earthquake and tsunami struck. Some of you have already spoken to him on facebook but for those that havent or don't use facebook, he and his family are doing ok considering the circumstances.
Currently due to the nuclear powerplant situation in Fukushima and the fallout from it being blown over Tokyo they are trying to get to southern Japan on advice from the Italian embassy so he might not be able to respond to posts here or over at Facebook. He has managed to arrange a flight back to Italy on the 30th, sooner would have been better but at the moment this is the best there is. I thought I'd post it here to keep you updated and when I hear more from him I will post it here.

Re: Ugo in Japan
I've been in contact with him, but I didn't know they were scheduled for leaving on the 30th. I've been checking the situation every few hours, although it's not that easy to get find accurate information.

Re: Ugo in Japan
All the best for Ugo and all people in Japan.
What happened there is a very terrible thing for this region.
I feel for those affected.
The best greetings from Heli

Re: Ugo in Japan
Dear friends,
thanks all for your support in this dramatic situation.
Our main concern is to avoid exposure to radiations, having two kids the feeling is even more pressing.
Unfortunately moving out from Tokyo area is not that easy. Trains and transportations are working at minimum due to lack of energy and food and gasoline supplies are almost over.
We'll try heading south for some days waiting to get our plane on 30 back, we managed to reschedule later today.
We are pretty stressed due to the heavy quackes that don't allow us a good rest since almost four days so far. Neverless internet works, even if bandwithd is very slow now.
Thanks again mates. See you soon!
Ugo
