    Hurricane in a hurry

Only got this commission through yesterday at about 5pm, thanks to John and google was ready to start at 8am, still need to add cockpit interior but needs to be wrapped up by first thing tomorrow

Only area I have concern about is the radiator but all the photos I've got which have sufficient detail have the ****ing U/C doors in the way obscuring the front of it.

    not bad chris,

the rad needs the gap between rad and fuselage removing, from the side it should look solid, but make sure you shape the bloody thing.
also the lower shape of rad should be a nice curve, yours has corners

blur the camouflage edge, they had overspray, not sharp edged, all image show this

Looks very good for the time scale Ink, I'd go as far as to say exceptional.
Check your intake, I think you have the later wider type not the early one which has a smaller inlet?

This was my "revamped" 8 years old template, so probably has plenty of errors, but the intake gives you a good idea.

You know what, I wouldn't bother.
Most people who buy these mags wouldn't know, they see what they see and half of them couldn't tell a Spit from Hurry anyway.

Cheers for the radiator info, I didn't take into account the amount of curve on it and went for the wrong option initially.

Having said that it is fun to see what can be done in a short time. One day I'll get a job that I can really spend plenty of time on and do it to the high standards of detail of others. With the mags it is normally not printed out too large so a lot of the detail goes.

And Jester, was showing someone the Albatros the other day and they asked if it was a Sopwith Camel, think that is the only biplane they are even remotely aware of!

Drawing more than one aircraft type in a year would be seriously bad for your mood.

Mad as it sounds I enjoy the pressure in a weird way, next I need to see if I can do a Harrier over the weekend. Though I do have just over a week to finish all 4 views off.
