Thread: Harrier GR9

  1. #1

    Harrier GR9

Still need to sort out the pylons and bomb her up (plus sort out the airbrake and a couple of shadows here and there) but here's one dirty old Harrier.

And before anyone says about the dark shading on the lower fuselage, that is dirt and soot. If you want a GR9 walkaround pm me or hassle John who has the photos!

There is one in the gallery here too shot by me at a airshow a few years back. I think that includes some good shots of the pylons and a CATM sidewinder.

And mess with all that foreign muck, no thanks

Whilst this one is a commission, it does give me the excuse to do the rest of the retirement Harriers from 1 and 4 Sqn and 800 NAS with the special markings, a few were even done up with BoB tribute tails.

Only trouble I may have is working out which A/C have which LERX, though most have 60% I think.

It's a bottle nosed GR3 once they got carried away and stuck too much stuff on and really spoiled it

And good luck on him sucking my brain out, how does the machine work when there's negative feedback?

I think the case John was more that you NEEDED a brain surgeon before you came here, perhaps this place gave you a well needed lobotomy

Lots of false info there John . . . first off the lazy bast, er so and so didn't come to mine, he made be bribe him with a bottle of rum, to let me go to his place.

Second of all, he sucked my brain out and stashed it away, not the other way around.
