Thread: FW 200 Condor

    Re: FW 200 Condor

The nose looks a little too boxy for the cross sections and why is the outer engine angled out slightly, doesn't seem logical to me or was it a structural thing?

    Thanks guys,
Inkworm: The engine was lightly off the line, also the nose was not round complete, check the drawings JMS posted...but the shades will be revisited slightly (as mentioned in answer for BH post)

Your drawing shows great form, very well done.
Looking forward to seeing it coloured in.

    Re: FW 200 Condor

I did look at the plans before the last post and realised the engine was out, but still wondered why, plus I still think the nose shading needs a little more work right up at the tip.

    HI all
Thanks for nice words on our WIP Condor. Here is small update.
added some shadows on wing, reworked engine bottom shape, and few details appeared as Antenas, gun turrets etc.
Now to do the work I hate, propeller shadows

    Comments?

    Nice work!!

Inky, I think the canted engine was an attempt to minimize engine-out controllability problems in yaw. Same for the Ju-52.

Spin them. No prop to draw. No prop shadow to draw.

    Nice work, Peter.

    Re: FW 200 Condor

    Looking good, Peter.

By extending your logic, if you spin the props then you have to add personnel, surely, if you don't spin the props, you have to add undercarriage?

    You can't win either way!

grr, I thought noone will come with this non-personnel - Gear connection OKay YOU win. Problem is that Zamex hates to do undercariadges
It will be done one day. Landing Gear is something advanced what the customer needs ...
BTW, thats for nice words on our work.

And here is the first one in colors.
