...too much (soft) shadowing under the exhausts....make them looking too fake. How about sharper shadow and directed down, like if light is coming from above, of course?

The exhaust staining doesn't look consistent with how the airflow would go around the wings. Maybe you should check that? (This is just my impression, I have nothing to back it up so I might be wrong. If you have photo evidence of it, please disregard my comment.)
