    Re: Closing the FW190 Anton

Sorry guys, I've been on holiday last week and working my ass off to get 14 profiles ready before I went, so missed most of these posts.
First off, thanks for the comments, encouragement and interest, its well received. Considering I was thinking of hanging up my gloves and trying something else.

As usual I dont have all the answers, I have to blag my way through most of my profiles, so I cant really say how accurate they are.

Pkassak has posted most of what I am working from right there.
And like I say, most of the time I'm guessing.

Its looking for a new home. I got caught out by the cheap incentive only to be clobbered by massive second set of renewal charges. At the time I didn't have the spare cash, so I will give it a new look and relaunch it when its ready.

    Re: Closing the FW190 Anton

Jesters-Ink, these are very nice & just sweet looking.
By the way, what is the image size resolution for those?
And what is the optimal resolution to start a new detailed color profile project?
I'm asking since I've only started my 1st one and I'm not sure if I chosen right values...

    Sincere regards,
    Anton ("Mangas").

Two more and two of my favourites.

These are 297mm by 420mm (standard A3 in the UK) set at 300dpi.

You can easily get away with 172dpi at this size for A4 sized end production if you wish. These are actual size and I think they look fine.

These ---> http://premium1.uploadit.org/JeSTeRs//C4918.jpg are closer to 600dpi but IMO this is overkill for A4 publication, only reason I made them this size is the original artwork (line work) was provided at that size and I made mine from the same line work at 1 to 1.

For me, A3 at 300 tends to work very well in photoshop since the brush sizes all work better at stock sizes for this dpi. Using 600dpi I find I am having to increase my brush sizes all of the time.

I would ask others too, its good to get a good cross section before you decide.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation.
Is it possible to change my current size into those (297mm by 420mm) without loosing my work?

P.S.: I'm sorry your website is no more... you always inspired me with your work (both skins & profiles)...
P.S.2: Please send my best regards to Mark ("Sparty")...

Resizing up will always result in some loss of quality however I've had need to do it a couple of times and the shading generally stays fine, just some of the line work may need attention.

Jester the new profiles are amazing!

Regarding website: I started the webblog because it's free. Also very easy to handle. My knowledge with html etc. is very limited, so this way is perfect to me.

    Cheers,
