Tricky subject. A bright highlight on the wing LE to bring the shape out perhaps?
Not finding much in the way of good detailed information out there, few small photos and a short film on youtube so still WIP but posted for CnC.

Fiddled with it a bit, took the engines off and added wheels! And that's the AW.52G, did try messing with highlights and playing with the panel lines a bit on the AW.52 to bring it out a bit but wasn't used all that much so there wouldn't have been any noticeable weathering plus the lines are unlikely to have been very visible.

OK, what is it really?
The top one is pretty neat, I've never seen it.![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Top one is a small scale glider (Armstrong Whitworth AW.52G) of which the white one (AW.52) was a scaled up version but again a test version for a proposed larger bomber/airliner configuration.
If you want more just get the October issue of Aeroplane or there is wiki and some footage on youtube somewhere
