Old Warden is fantastic if you want to get up nice and close to WWI stuff, with some fine examples like the two Bristol scouts and a nice selection of Sopwith's. There is also some between the wars stuff too and of course the Spit Vb and Hurricane there. My advice would be to do Old Warden and Duxford on the same day. All depends on where you are located, there are plenty of great museums in and around the midlands too.

Just read your post and see that you are in Ireland, so if you do make the trip over, deffo do the two together.

Don't forget its the Victory show this weekend (Cosby). I think the gates open at 9am.

Don't remind me about the Victory Show, poor planning from other half means we'll miss it, saw Sally and the Cat outside as we went past DX though looking as good as ever, also there was a spit stripped down and in bits outside, couldn't get a good look on what it was though.
    Harriers...uppy downy things.

    Re: duxford

Living in London as I do, I regularly go to Hendon, especially if I get a new piece of kit for my camera so as to try it out before taking it to old warden for one of their pageant days or Duxford for the flying legends airshow which I go to every year.
