    La-11 Fang

Few weeks ago I made my first profile, Benes-Mraz Be-51. Now I decided to try with a little more complicated plane. This is my new attempt: Lavochkin La-11, some NATO guys may call it "The Fang"
La-11 was long range escort fighter, mainly used in Korean War by N.Korean, Chinese and Soviet pilots. Pilot had all the accessories needed, even an urinal for long flights
Still in WIP, with only the basic color, a few shadows, rivets and panels.
    Grettings to all!

Looks like a good start. What's the thing on top of the canopy?

It is the gun camera S-13, or in original фотокинопулемет C-13

That is a very fine start, Darko. Lovely. My only tiny comment would regard the spinner shape as shown on the line drawing. While I cannot prove this is too pointy, it looks so to my eye.

This is how I drew the spinner. You will have to decide for yourself which is the better in your judgement.

x4btr, thanks for pointing this out. I checked references one more time and you are absolutely right.
Will try to trace a new shape.

Odd to have a external gun camera mounted like that, wouldn't that only create more drag?

    Re: La-11 Fang

Thank you all for comments and corrections.

@Supah: Maybe this camera must be mounted in the line with the cannons which were all installed in the nose section

Here is the fresh update with new spinner, fully rivetted and few more shadows added.
