i quite agree, that why i and others on here always say "check your images" but in this case the the outline for the nose matches the photos.
station diagram are best fo getting the correct dimentions for the aircraft![]()
I can see what you are driving at in this case John (and I agree) but I would make this general observation.
Those are NOT "works" drawings. They are Air Ministry A.P. (Air Publication) diagrams which exist only to illustrate the relevant point in the manual - in this case the fuselage frame locations. They are often inaccurate. However, in this instance they look pretty good, but I would never, ever rely on A.P. diagrams for an accurate drawing.
