Have a deeper check on the tail boom. Looks wrong shaped. Regaring the skids, are you sure they are so low, being a D model? I saw thius configuration only in the early C models...

i guess you're right about that. the problem is: i'm not uite sure about this oh's version, the drawing i have says it's the md500d, but i think it's wrong. do you know where can i get an accurate drawing such as an accurate version?

    Thank you

ok, this is my "D". It's a bit old but quite accurate.

    Re: OH-6 WIP

I noticed the skids in Mprim's are a lot shorter than the ones in Ugo's drawing.
I haven't ever given thought to landing gear or skid compression. Ugo, are those skid's shown as they look in the air or on the ground with the chopper's weight on them? I'd assume there is a difference in height.

I "think" my Zero gear is compressed as it would be sitting on the ground but I'm not really sure

    Re: OH-6 WIP

I would say for both reasons. Those from MPRIM, though a bit wrong in shape, belong to the early Cayuse, OH-6A http://www.warbirdsandairshows.com/i...oh-6-96w-1.jpg and pretty compressed on the ground, while he depicted what seems to be a "D" model with the "T" tale rather than "V" tale.
Mine is the typical "D" model skid with an inflight position

Forget about that drawing. It's a whole mistake of proportions and shape. This is a Cayuse or Loach in USARMY. The skids must be like this, or like the one I did, just a bit shorter. Notice also the rear window of smaller dimension: Photos: Hughes OH-6A Cayuse (369A) Aircraft Pictures | Airliners.net
