Mustang Nose Shapes

Mates, can someone refer me to the thread I remember seeing posted within the last two years (?) regarding the different shapes of the upper forward fuselage from spinner to firewall for the P-51B vs. the P-51D?

I'm not sure whether the subject came up during GFR's Mustang marathon or GM's series.

There was a very involved thread about that on the old P51SIG forum, but it was lost in a server crash.

This was one of the main pics used in the discussion, though I can't remember who posted it. (Probably James Neeley)

yep i remember having this,

and other drawings with regard the drop tanks and spinner, now where the hell did i put them, maybe in the P51 folder
