Hey Slammer,
Pretty nice! Was that done from a wide angle photo or did you do the forced perspective without a camera? Either way it makes an eye catching piece!
Hi all, Slammer has been lurking here for a while, drooling over the eye-popping artwork here and feeling just that likkle tad intimidated by what I see.
So here is my inaugural post and my first offering.
I saw this on a trip to the brilliant air-museum in Brüssels and thought: "Hey! I can do this drawing thingy too" hope y'all like.

FAST AND BULBOUS!
Hi and welcome!
Nice work, I like the stylization.
Nothing so elaborate, just a cheapy Samsung digital.
Here is the original.
It's a lot easier with a photo for sureThat sort of forced perspective was big in illustration when I was in school and we were all trying to draw it from life, no photos. We though photos were cheating! HA! I would NEVER attempt to do that sort of thing now without a photo
I like it a lot Slammer![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Harriers...uppy downy things.
It makes sense in a way, the idea was that the artist decides the exaggerations. The camera makes those decisions for you. I was never very good at it.
Bott is KILLER!!!! Feel lucky you're mentioned along with him SlammerGreat stuff and reminds me a bit of Ian Bott's style![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
I must admit that I had to google the guy (at this point Slammer's jaw dropped with a clang onto the table) Yup! Must admit I like the comparison![]()
I'll tell Ian that next time I see him then BH
