    109 k-4 in the works

playing with the aces high skins again.
I'm getting way behind on my il2 stuff but its fun to try things out on a new canvas.I forgot to tone down the opps on the markings and some of the control surface shading needs to be toned down. little sun fading on the tops and it should be almost there.
    any input would be appreciated

When I looked at the 4th screenie, I thought for half a second "the rivets look strange" until I realised that the underside of each is bright and the upperside dark. Is this on purpose?

I think it looks nice. If I were to suggest anything, it would be that the boundry between the camo colors could use a bit of smoothing. Not enought to make a wide spray overlap, just enough so there is no pixel edge visible between them.

    Otherwise thumbs up!

OH! Something I just spotted after posting... the vertical white stripe on the fuselage at the rear near the tail, is missing. And also there is an oval access panel right behind it too on the profile.

It might, either that or try on a new layer (above the camo) tracing the outline of the boundry with one of the camo colors using a size 3 or so soft brush.

Be sure to work on a separate layer so if the effect isn't right you can discard it and try another technique.

Cool! That's a great camo scheme and a pretty skin.
