Thanks for this site, it's very informative. This might be my first post. Just started 'Skinning' FSX Aircraft and progress is painfully slow Got a Q for the experts If the answer is here and I've missed it, apologies.

Once I've attempted to do some work on a template imported from DXT....How do I save it and get it back to DXT so that I can re-load it please? I've just spent some time messing with a L-1011 Fuselage..actually managed to apply some paint! Went to send it back and couldn't

Glad to hear you got it sorted out.

Sorry I was not able to post sooner, I think the DXTBmp program would export the work back into your image editor. It has been several years since I used that tool. I note my work with it in this tutorial:

No problem with the late response We've all got lives to lead. Thanks for getting back to me anyway. I'm late in replying as I've been away for a while. Just clicked on the link you've given. Looks very helpful. As you've guessed, new to this re-painting business. So all support helps, thanks.
