Being asked by a long time friend to illustrate his book, I find there are several types of WW2 Allied and Axis aircraft needing profiles. Having used what looked to be good Japanese line drawings - I find they do not compare with the detail and quality shown on SPS. (hard to explain but each aircraft has a look and stance that defines it). It was with great sadness I found out Otterkins2 was no longer with us, as he would be my first point of reference. Is there an archive of his work? and if not a great tribute would be to have a book or CD published with the royalties to his family.
The attached drawing is a lot of time and effort wasted, and is there anyone who can help give me a good start in the confusing matter of Luftwaffe fighters?
