    Re: My P-51D Mustang Profiles

Although I post at the topic that Jadehawk started, this is actually question for all: recently, I found this photo at swissmustangs.ch (or something like that) and I was stunned.
This Cavalier Mustang was used as test-bed for 106mm recoilless rifle in 1974. Please tell me that anyone of you got this photo in bigger size, or at least plans to draw him.
    Its serial number was 68-15796.
By the way, nice birds Jadehawk!

    Always plans, never time!
I've already completed a 3D model of the Cavalier Mustang, just need to add the tubes and adjust the colours of the colour scheme.

    Some more pics.

    Just received this:

Here's an official USN photo of 68-15796 firing at NAS China Lake on 20 June 1974: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...stang106mm.jpg

That Mustang is preserved at the Air Force Armament Museum, Eglin AFB.

    Re: My P-51D Mustang Profiles

Found this interesting (but frustratingly small) photo of a Cavalier that appears to show a 106mm RR on the left wingtip and a fuel tank on the starboard.

    One more (small!) photo
