The profile is very bright & accurate! Nice work!
But I think SCW planes should have some weathering/combat usage effects... maybe just a little... At least some exhaust... Don't you agree?![]()
Hello Boys... and Girls?
Today I show you my profile (without watermark) of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1, 6-88. It was flown Capt. Siebelt Reents, he was from 30.09.1938 until the end of the Spanish Civil War, squadron commander of the 1st J/88 and mostly stationed at the airfield of La Cenia (La Senia). In Spain, he scored a victory in the air.
The 6-88 was passed in 1939, the Ejercito del Aire and received the Spanish service number C.5-88 (the first code, C.5 for Bf 109 E, was exchanged against C.4E 1951). Today it stands, after several intermediate stations, to reconstruct at Meier Motors in Germany.
Bye

Heli, what decal marking are you using on the prop blades?![]()
Thanks, may I ask how you came to the conclusion that the middle is yellow. I'm not saying it's wrong but I have been having discussions with fellow enthusiasts who believe it might be light blue? I myself agree with the yellow colour but just wondered if you have a better reference to the use of yellow.

Thanks Heli, nice photo. Below are some colour examples of the logo:
Although it looks light blue it is extremely faded and worn:
This one I think shows it as a faded yellow. The photo has a very bad blue tint to it:
Here is the same photo but I have applied some unbiased colour correction to remove the blue tint and I think it looks even more yellow now:

Hi experts,
the text in the VDM logo is ...
Verstellpropeller
Vereinigte Deutsche Metallwerke AG
Possibly ... Frankfurt am Main ? ... (Illegible text)
Typ VDM
Frankfurt am Main ... was the headquarters of VDM!
Bye
Heli
PS: I change the colors of VDM logo in my profile.

Nice pic. But clearly a different variant to the one in the photo you posted in post 7. Which I think says _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Altona:
"They could however in length and content perhaps, perhaps, perhaps be: Hamburg Altona after the company branch apparently involved with the manufacturing of aircraft propellers, which was formed from the earlier compound of the Altonaer Maschinenfabrik AG in Hamburg and became the branch Hamburg-Altona of VDM."

Do a search for Hamilton standard prop on Google and many examples of the Hamilton prop decal will appear. All have varying cities of the factories they were produced in? Same with the VDM decals I think?![]()
