Prewar Marine SBD-1
This one was so much fun I think that I'll go ahead and complete the entire squadron so I can watch it fly by in living color!

Re: Prewar Marine SBD-1
Useful, too - There were 18 aircraft in a squadron, and they flew in section VICs of three, each denoted by a specific trim color. All the planes in the section had the wing chevrons, but only the section leader had the fuselage band. The right-hand aircraft in the VIC had only the upper cowl trimmed in the section color, while the left-hand aircraft had only the lower cowl colored. So everyone could be readily identified on prewar flybys, and the party responsible for any screwups could be promptly given the individual counseling that the USMC is justly famous for.
The weathering is minimal because I am absolutely certain that these prewar machines would have been maintained impeccably.

Re: Prewar Marine SBD-1
Hello MrFernand,
Yes, the SBD-3 and -5 are flyable in Pacific Fighters. These are SBD-1's, but the difference between the -1's and the -3's were almost wholly internal so these skins work well when placed in the SBD-3 folder.
Right now I'm asking Jesters_Ink to have a look at the finished product and make suggestions before I release them. If you PM your e-mail address to me, I'll be sure to let you know as soon as they are uploaded. It should be in a week or less.
Thanks for your interest and compliments!
