hi mate,
there are non out there that i consider 100%, but i will send you what i have but PLEASE check them against photos![]()
I've been commissioned by the family of a former RAAF Mosquito pilot to draw a profile of his former aircraft, and I'm looking for what is considered the most accurate line-art for a FB 40/FB VI.
As usual any help is appreciated.![]()

I found these on Photobucket, they are DE HAVILLAND Hatfield drawings so I thought I had found gold. But I'm told by an enthusiast that they are probably drawings for a parts catalogue, so they may not be accurate at all and lacking some details. As they are photographs there is also the likelihood of distortion anyway.
They are of a NF 19 nightfighter version I think but I am led to believe most Mosquito fuselages are the same up to the cockpit. It was the cockpit that showed up the fact that these drawings could be a problem. I have never seen a Mosquito with such a cockpit.
But in case you may find them interesting to look at here is a link and a sample, a lot of the drawings are of internal systems.

I see that I have them but haven't had a chance to have a really good look (hence no acknowledgement) at them as yet, as I have a shitload of stuff on my plate right now and don't have any real time for profiling right now.
Hopefully I can get a 'knock it over' it this weekend 'cos profiling in the next fortnight is going to be completely out of the question.
Anyway...Thanks for your efforts, I do appreciate it!![]()
About the best drawings of the FB.VI around (as far as the fuselage is concerned anyway) are those published in the SAM Publications Aviation Guide No.2 - Mosquito FB.VI. The fuse was drawn from original de Havilland lofting data for the fuselage mould and so is extremely accurate.
