"This book describes and illustrates all the fighter aircraft used by the Swedish armed forces from the mid-‘20s until the end of the piston-engine era. These include indigenous designs, plus the various American, Italian and British fighters used at various times. Camouflage and marking schemes used on these aircraft are covered in detail, illustrated with many photos including rare wartime colour pictures. "
I've been good this year, think Santa will bring me one?
Seriously though I am looking forward to getting my copy and if you haven't ordered one yet then why not?
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Copy arrived today and it really is a nice book full of profiles by someone called Thierry, no idea who he is but you could learn from him Wlad :P
Seriously it's a great book, hardback for a change and well worth it. Lots of Mustang photos and all a bit different from the usual Yankee stuff.
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Yo !!!!!!! Thanks a lot inkworm for so nice comments ! But I must say that your aircraft profils were really good too, dear Inkworm !
I hope readers will like it too, but I confirm, it's a very good book on this subject, write by a swedish expert, full of original pictures (some in colors) and top profils !
Thierry (Wlad-FR)![]()
Did you mention to Gamary and GFR there are a load of Mustang photos? That is two copies sold!
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Are there any black crosses in it?![]()
I know that you are the "Black Crosses" expert !, but in the book you will only find crown, but some Chris's profiles have skull and crossbones on side. Is it enough for you ?
Regards
Wlad
No expert dude, just my fave. I'll see if I can get a .pdf.![]()
