Lovin them Ronnie, that A-4 needs some squiggles on it......![]()
Back in the summer of 2004 I created a Ju 88 T-1 for a book cover, but sadly the book never materialised.
More recently I was asked to produce a Ju 88 A-4 for a documentary so I revisted my T-1 model. Expecting a minor conversion, in the end I almost rebuild the entire model and not a single vertex stayed put!
Here is the result:
A comparison with my old model:
Another conversion followed later, this time to a C-6 nightfighter. I still need to add the markings, but otherwise it's pretty much complete. Just for the record, this is a model with Schräge Musik installed and the gondola removed, making it look a bit like the later G-models (which are still on the to do list...).
I hope you like the result. Now to make some images with them...!
PS. Many thanks to Maciek Noszczak for help with his Ju 88 scale drawings!

What's the 3D look like in profile?
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Very realistic. Perfect 3D work. I'm amazed!
Thanks a lot guys, glad you like it.
I made one little mistake: the right engine was accidentally mirrored in the rush to finish this model. A 30 second fix luckily.
Please wait a few days and I'll show you!
NB. The old one looked like this: Skyraider's 3D Aviation Art - Gallery - Aircraft 6 - Ju 88 T-1
Clint, will do a squiggly one at some point. An A-17 probably... I love those!
