Hi,
The fonts published here are freeware or demo versions. Contact the authors (see read me inside the zip-file) for information about usage.

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
there is no text file explaining licenses in the .zip files
Thats why I'm a little stuck as to whether I can use them or not

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
In that case check the properties of the TTF-file. If there are any copyrights they should be included there.
Which font are you talking about?

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
have clicked "get info" (I'm a mac user) on the .ttf file and there is nothing about the license of the font.
the font is rafww212.ttf
Is there an email address available so that I can contact the site owner? I can't seem to find one anywhere

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
Jamajay, it is terribly ethical of you to search out the original creators of the typeface to get permission for it's use but I think chances are going to be slim in finding them. The fonts are distributed so widely on the net that they have surely fallen into the free use category. Unless of course you plan to use the font as the main typeface for the new Coca Cola logo I wouldn't lose too much sleep about getting sued for copyright infringement.

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
haha, yeah i know what you mean. I'm looking to start up my own company (I'm a design graduate) and i"m just being careful, its nothing massive yet. If it got big (hopefully) I don't want the font police knocking at me door.
Honesty is the best policy
Cheers for the help

Wise to be cautious if it makes the bigtime... Good luck with your studies and business venture.
Actually there was recently some upset because the MOD copyrighted a load of RAF themed stuff ie roundels etc. I wonder if they copyrighted the particular RAF font you wish to use. Perhaps Ronnie Skyraider might know?

Re: Licence for downloadable fonts?
I've tried to look up who created the font.
Back when I added the fonts, I made sure that there were no copyright issues with them. Unfortunately I cannot find the mail about this font right now.
It seems that the original location of it also no longer is there. When I search for the font name, there are only a few hits and not the original site among them.
