    Dassault MD.450 Ouragan

Several years ago, I made this (lousy) profile of the Ouragan:

Name: MD.450 France, Alsace, Chateaudun GG.jpg
Views: 352
Size: 20.4 KB

A few years later, I improved the profile a bit but there is only that much you can do based on a bad drawing:

Name: France, MD.450 N° XXX, Alsace, Chateaudun, guate guard.jpg
Views: 356
Size: 25.5 KB

Having received an order for all Patrouille de France aircraft (except the AlphaJet), I decided it would be better to redo the Ouragan from scratch:

Name: AAA MD.450 Ouragan port model.jpg
Views: 361
Size: 18.8 KB

I'm waiting for a book I ordered to "finalize" the template. The only real issues I have right now are the following:

Some aircraft seem to have a thin belly antenna, located near the wing leading edge root. I haven't been able to determine what it is exactly, or which aircraft had it, so I guess I'll have to check every photo individually.

The other problem I have is more annoying. Based on the information I found, the prototypes, pre-production and first 12 production Ouragan had a Martin-Baker ejection seat. After that, it was supposed to be equipped with an SNCASO E86 seat.

I've only found these photos of a E86 ejector seat, and they don't look like what I can see on the pictures. Hopefully, the book I'm waiting for will shed some light on the matter, but I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who might have some info on this topic.

That website might be good reference, for those of you who don't know it.

    Hello Gaetan
Here are some pictures of the ejection seat; I hope you find them useful
    Salut

@JP: Fantastic! This is exactly it! Did you find these online?

Thanks a million! If ever you're around Paris, give me a call and I'll buy you a drink or two.

    You're welcome, Gaetan.
When I started my Ouragan profile I had the same problem and was helped by a member of another forum.
    He directed to this page:
siege ejectable mystere 2 - mistral

The Ouragan and the Mystere II share the same engine SNCASO E.86

I hope I can visit Paris in the near future and take that drink
