Can we edit our old message posts?

It would be great to be able to edit our old posts. For example, there is an image link within an old post that I would like to change because the old image link has been deleted or unable to display the image anymore.

Adding the ability to edit an old post would be a nice addition to your forum.

No, that is not possible. This is because there are people who tend to abuse the option. For example: change the post in a very hot discussion after someone has replied to the post. This gives very strange effects to say the least.

If you want to post a correct link, just add a new post with the note that the old link is no longer valid and give the new link.
