Got one not too unlike it.
Check your top wing profile the high point of the curve is opposite to that of the lower wing, as in the longest point to tip is towards the back of the cord, not the front as you have it.

Hi Penio, have you got a readable image of the service text on the back of the He-51 you can let me have please?

    Re: Line drawings Heinkel He-51b

The weights and loading tables generally went something like this:

    Flugzeughalter (Aircraft Owner)
    Gruppe (Class of Airframe)
    Leergewicht (Gross Weight)
    Gesamtlast: (Load Capacity)
    Höchstzul. Fluggewicht (Max Flying Weight)
Höchstzul. Personenzahl (Max No. of Crew)
Letze Prüfg. (Date of Last Major Service)

The following is an example from a He46 from the Technical School at Adlerschof, Berlin:

    FLUGZEUGHALTER: TECHN SCHULE ADLERSCHOF
    BERLIN - ADLERSCHOF
    GRUPPE: LB1 H4
    LEERGEWICHT: 1725 KG.
    GESAMTLAST: 445 KG.
    HÖCHSTZUL. FLUGGEWICHT: 2270 KG.
    HÖCHSTZUL. PERSONENZAHL: 2
    LETZE PRÜFG: 18.11.37

Obviously some of this info changes dependant on the circumstances particular to that aircraft. The rest might be able to be gleaned from the He51b handbuch. Unless of course Penio has a decent close-up of the markings on an actual He51b?

Thanks Clint, that's not a bad idea and in this case it might be as good as it gets.
    Still, one lives in hope.

    And here it is:

    Name: Weights and Loading Table.jpg
Views: 140
Size: 174.4 KB
Source: Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings Vol 2, By Kenneth Merrick, (Classic)

By the look of the word and character shapes it looks as though the version on Penio's is a decent match for this one. I'd even hasten a guess that they are one and the same layout. I know it would be terribly irritating to not get the amounts/numbers exact for your aircraft but a bit of educated guessing and BS here and there might not get seen at small size.

I really am LoL, Clint, love that last part of your text, ----->

"a bit of educated guessing and BS here and there". Spot on mate, you've made my Sunday

The image is a big help, the best I could find was of the tail of a Hs-123 and its tosh!

Right then its time to hit the books and find out where, what, when and how much.

    Thanks Clint, big help
