    Gloster Javelins

Working on a few and thought I'd start with this nice bright FAW.2 converted to FAW.7 (the engine) and FAW.8 wings, nice and easy.

You've captured this very nicely, the orange looks very convincing (strong but not overpowering).

Good to see you are still verticle John. I know nothing of the Javelin, was the color day glow orange, is this a trainer?

    Re: Gloster Javelins

It did get bit weathered and the edge taken off which should make John happier, but it was the only one in that scheme and was used for A&AEE trials before being replaced with an adapted FAW.9

Normally they looked like the bottom one of 11 Sqn

    Re: Gloster Javelins

Shadows could be a bit more dramatic on the camouflaged one, the intake looks flat now and blends into the body. Add some more "Oompf" Chris! In real life it's a huge oompaloompa of a machine, it needs to feel more like it in profile

I realised that but have already sent them off, not my best effort but was a bit rushed
