Luftwaffe primary trainer Buecker Bu-131 template is almost done.
Used by lot of operators: Germany, Japan, Spain, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Italy...
This is Bu-131D, the latest variant of the type. Next in the row are Bu-131A and Bu-131B variants.
Espenlaub, thanks for the link, it looks like a wonderfull book.
Drawing is on A3 canvas in photoshop at 300 dpi.
Regretably, there is a total confusion descripting subvariants in all the books covering Bucker planes, at least in the books that I have in my library
So, I need to double check all the photos in order to see the differences between the individual subvariants (A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, etc).
Here is Bu-131A, WNr.19, D-EGSY, serving as propaganda plane during 1936 Olympic games in Berlin. Colors are standard for A variant: pearl white on linen, and aluminium-silver on metal parts.
Still not 100% finished, need some adjustments on the construction and on the shadows/highlights, plus underwing registration, and some service lettering.
