After some consultation with Jim Maas, this drawing shows the color adjusts made to 2012 attempt..

Wasn't intending this to be a new thread - just an addendum to the earlier Hawk: clearly, I haven't yet mastered protocol...

Closter - thanks for your comments ; there's not a great deal of detail in the Hawk drawing - it was a step along the learning curve: I was happy with the highlighting and that it turned out the way it did, i.e. a 'transition' piece.
