...My take on F4U-2 0246 'Black George'. Only had one photograph to go by - of the front of BG. Corsair aficionados will be aware of the ongoing "discussions" re the painting on F4U-2s. The profile montage shows the 1s & 2s that sprung from this project in spring 2013.

Looks good. I don't remember a radar dome on the F4U-1. The F4U-1A yes and later models but not the original operational model.

You really need to do the left side of Walsh's plane. He was the first Corsair Ace. A mission I made in IL-2 for my mission pack.
