    Birdcage Corsair(s) Part 2...

'Black George' turns the other cheek and invites some friends over... Although sprung from the same nest- these images were all worked on individually and each has its own character...

Looks good, except for the national markings on the fuselage. They look like they're floating as they lack any perspective deformation (should look a little squashed in height at the top and bottom where it curves with the fuselage) and the white of the bars on "Black George" should extend to the star's diameter. Please see attached.

The base shape of your Corsair looks pretty good. Most people forget the little hunchback behind the cockpit.

Sky - thanks for the comments & heads-up ; I'm aware of the perspective distortion, but poor application on BG.

It's been about 10 years since we last talked - then I was living in Halifax, Canada. I recall your advice on the various 3D programs available then. I think about it often, but am still plondering along in PS (7).

Nevertheless, my work has improved over the years... and the help & advice I've gotten since on this site & forum has pushed me forward immensely. Your fine work has always been inspirational...

    Cheers,

    B.A.

all well and good, but yet again I have to remind you that the lower colour and the three colour scheme is WHITE, that is the same colour as used on the star and bar, the actual name is None Specular White, which just means not gloss

Thank you, JM - the bougainvilia must have obscured my vision...
