    F4U-1A Corsair(s)

    These drawings spun out of the Corsair series I've been at for the last 3 years. They were inspired by the excellent (downloadable) Fundekals monograph on South Pacific -1As and later -1Ds ; the monograph contains all kinds of detail tidbits for modelers & illustrators..

    The Blackburn Corsair is not on the (Decal) monograph - I did it to illustrate the red insig. surround; all the Fundekals Corsairs are from various VMFs..
