T-34 Medium Tank family -- a tribute to Thierry Vallet
Hello to all.
Making aircraft profiles for years, I always kept wondering what it would be like to make a profile of a tank?...
I've been observing works of many guys here on this forum.
So, one day I decided "why not"? What do I loose?
So, this is it. Here's A-34 model 1. Most ppl mistaken it for T-34-76 early version, but, actually, isn't not. It's a T-34 Prototype, constructed in 1940. It was used for field tests in 1940 to be approved for starting up a production line:

More closer look (yes, there are small bolts between each track
):

Please note that not much weathering was applied as it was a factory prototype and wasn't heavily used.
P.S.: This work is dedicated to Thierry Vallet (buddy, if you read this -- hello
). It were his amazing HD vehicle profiles that inspired me to start this project.
P.S.2: As it's my 1st tank profile ever, I'd be glad to hear your remarks in case I forget smth...
And, answering the probable (and self-evident) question: yes, I do have plans to make all the other models of this legendary vehicle.
Sincere regards,
Mangas.

O.K. who wanted the weathered one?
Here you go.
There are still strong debates about this as it uses 3-colored scheme --
quite rare for tanks in Soviet Army in early 1940-s.
But, nethertheless, this one is T-34 (early series) from 75th Tank Division
Near Tolochin, Belarus, early July, 1941. Previously the tank was in Kharkov Military School where it was used to train the officer cadets:

Any suggestions about making a proper weathering/dirt clods are appreciated.
Sincere regards,
Mangas.

This looks so good that if I ever get around to doing another armour project I'm going to call it a tribute to Mangas!
Beautiful work Anton.
