Site update

Hello,

Currently we are updating the site.
The forums have been upgraded. The tutorials are available as wel, as part of the forum. We will change that in the future, by moving them to the articles section.
The downloads and colorsamplpes will be added asap.

In the process of upgrading, the avatars got damaged. We will try to restore them. But please upload your own if you still have it. It will save us some work.

Ahh I got in .
I wrote you a message Serval, that I could login but then again not. That was on my Win7 PC, but here on my ubuntu it works fine. Same browser "Firefox". Strange????
Anyway, looking forward to see the site up running at full speed again.
I miss it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one .

The structure of the site changed a lot. Before it was a forum with a lot of unofficial add-ons. Now it's a more modern version of the forum software, but things have also changed, since I attempt to run it with less unofficial add-ons.
Best way to solve problems is to empty your cache and cookies, so old settings do not mess up the new functionality.

It is strange, but unfortunately not uncommon to happen.

I also had a problem where I could not login last week. But I think this was due to a recent move of the hosting side, not the software. To solve my problem, I had to delete all my SPS cookies, and then reattempt a login. So far, so good, for me!

We are aware of the missing attachments to posts.
All attahcments are still available, but after the upgrade the link to the messages is missing. I cannot fix this myself, so we have to wait for the developers of the software to assist in this issue.
Meanwhile we are moving on to fix other issues we found and by adding data we removed for the upgrade (colors, downloads etc.)
Allow us some time to do this, since we also have to figure out what the best solution is for some things.

All Avatars have been repaired. We also have cleaned up old user profiles which haven't logged on for over 4 years. The ones who never posted have been removed.
We will also keep track of profiles with outdated E-mail information. So, please make sure your E-mail address is up to date, otherwise your account might also get deleted when we do that clean up.

The old attachments are back. All of them are restored.
The only thing is that they do not show up in the message itself, but you have to click a link.
I have to sort out what causes this, it might be some more corrupted data.
But we are still working on this, and slowly we are getting where we want to be.
