Re: I hate to say it, but I've got bad news for the SPS fans

You could even compile them into titled successive A-4 images and store them in a photo album called "Tutorials" on the FB page. Same with the colour charts in an album called "Colour Charts" or something.. That way they would all be on and accessible from the SPS FB page...

    Hi Folks!

I don't know how you think about FB but as far as I know FB can use your stuff when you have uploaded there. So I would upload the stuff at an image hosting website like photobucket. Then you can make a link at FB to the stuff.

    Cheers, Simon

PS: I tried to save as much as I found interesting at the Profile drawing section, but at the older threads sometimes just the first page was able to safe

Re: I hate to say it, but I've got bad news for the SPS fans

I know about the FB copyright "issues". I don't want a discussion here about how it should be interpreted. Everyone must do what he/she thinks is best. But I think it can be interesting to have an SPS community there. But read on....

Also because it is easier to update, I decided to place the color charts at my blog. And also with a first bonus: I've added the correct (as coming from an official source) BS381 colors. This is to be found here: http://www.logtnest.nl/explanation-of-the-color-charts/
Many of the tutorials will be placed there too.

Then I came to another idea. I do have a small server for personal use. It's not heavy, but for testing/upgrade purposes I managed to get a copy of SPS running there.
SPS will be up until the end of this month. I can investigate if it is possible to run SPS there and if it is possible to attach the domain even (I fixed IP, but I heard of a solution).
It won't be fast (slow response) but SPS would still be available with very little hosting costs. Not saying this will be done, but I will look at the up and down sides of it. And if it's done evaluate after six months if it's a good solution.

Mellow Re: I hate to say it, but I've got bad news for the SPS fans

    Hi Serval.

    Thanks for the mail yesterday.
Truly sorry to see this wunderfull-vidunderlig-wunderbar-wonderlijk-yndislegt-замечательно-formidable-underbar-maravilloso-meraviglioso site close .
I have had great use of especially the colour charts, and also this awesome community which have been most helpful when needed.

I know it is not the same, but maybe this site Axis & Allies Paintworks could use some of the talent from SPS. Just a thought.

The blog looks fine and it is good to see that the resources is not lost.

    Cheers
