Here is some Zeros of the IJN. There were all part of the Pearl Harbor raid.

I begin with the 5th Flotilla. (E letter) The airplanes where based on the Shokaku and Zuikaku carriers.

The first airplane, AI-155, was based on the Agaki and flown by Shigeru Itaya.
His three horizontal bands on the tail mean that the pilot is a Hikotai commander.
(Group). This aircraft was part of the escort of the first assault wave.

The second, AII-105, was flown by Yoshio Shiga and based on the Kaga. The bands on his
tail indicate a Chutai commander. (9 airplanes) It was also part of the escort of the
first assault wave. The airplanes of the Kaga claimed one aerial victory plus twenty
ground kills.

The thrid, AI-105 was based on the Agaki, and was in charge of the cover of the imperial
