Spitfire IXc 306 (Torunski) Sqn Northolt 1943

Early Spitfire IXc flown by 306 'Torunski' Sqn from RAF Northolt in 1943.

BS459 was part of the sixth order for MkIA/Bs placed in October 1940 and was one of the earliest production MkIXcs produced.
Completed at Supermarines Eastleigh factory and issued to #306 'Torunski' Sqn on 25th Sept 1942.
This A/C failed to return from a sweep over Europe on 26th Jan 1943 when it is believed it collided with a sister Spitfire (BS241) over the channel.

Three skins included, UZ-T, one with rounds and 'Torunski' markings and one with tail flash and 'Torunski' marks.

Thx to Jester and FBS for base template (Lookin forward to the 'new' one Jest )
