Two Seafire IIC (L III), MB244/6-Q and MB229 6-H flown by 899 Naval Air Squadron from HMS Indomitable from Scarpa Flow (Shetland Isles) as part of the British Home Fleet in June 1943.
Both A/C have the fuselage stengthening beams fitted form the forward cockpit bulkhead to the radio compartment, and the wing strengtheners required due to the added stresses of carrier landings.
