Hi Guys

I have decided to make another return to the forums and will try and make more visits here. I need to start showcasing my skins here too


I have now begun to embark on my next profile. the Rolls Royce PR Mk. XIX PS853

I will be doing the Mk.XIX in 2 paint schemes, The original 1944 Scheme it wore while in operations (seen below). The second scheme will be the current Airshow scheme where it flies with D-Day and incorrect roundels. Thank you to TonyT who managed to get me the opertunity to sit in this bird and thankyou to the crewcheif Rob, for his knowledge and the reference to the original scheme.

This is looking very good already Craig, you are doing it justice.
I would however drop the "grain texture overlay", it adds nothing to profile and at the same time masks detail IMO.

Yes Kristorf I am indeed using them. From time to time im missing A peice of something and TonyT who is one hell of a helpful chap takes a pic of an area im lacking on. Also I send him my updates so he can check them with Rob against the one in the hanger. Its a process that is going rather well.

Quick Update. Worked on the canopy and on the tail area. Added some more weathering and tweaked here and there.

Update! I have DOne most of the fuselage and will begin on the wings soon! Ive done a preview with photos of the real aircraft that i took side by side for comparisions.
