    Seafire MKIII PP979 807 NAS

    PP979 took part in anti-shipping strikes in the Andaman Sea during May-June 1945 from HMS Hunter, part of the British East Indies Fleet.

    The a/c was scrapped after being badly damaged in a subsequent landing accident.
