Beside my mor FUNny skins I have designed for our 'Freelancer' OnLineClub I now decided to start a new, more serious project. I want to expand the template, made from Aero_Shodanjo and MB_Bob I have downloaded here. I will need to add a set of camouflage layers etc. to get the right colors to the Me262.
At this point I want to thank both for doing it!!
I have investigated at the WEB to have a s much information and pics as I think I need to start the project now.
To have an idea what I try to do here is one of the shots I got.
I still don't know what colors from the chart I need to use, and any hint here is wellcome.
Kind regards,
Papa Roach

Immortal Thread Killer par excellence!
Yes, definitely 76 and 81 brown-violet. (keep in mind, there are 2 or 3 variations of 81 depending on who you ask)
The green probably should be 83 but could just as easily be 82 as well. They're both similar green colors. 83 is much brighter than 82 and used heavily on the 262. Not that 82 couldn't be used. To my eye the picture you've got looks more like 82 but I have a feeling it is supposed to be 83. When the National Air And Space 262 was restored the BRIGHT 83 color shocked a lot of people and even to this day you'll see darker duller versions of 83
Pretty damn bright
Take a look at Jester's 190 here-

The first plane uses (I think) 82 green while the second version is using 83. I believe the second plane is 81/83 and he's used a greenish version of 81 but he'll need to tell you what he did![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Here is my first draft of the skin, after 10 versions I tested:

I have tried both 82 and 83; this is 83 now, and it still seems to be too gray. An other problem I discovered is that I can't get rid of the glossy touch. Tried to disable most of the layers now, no joy.
Feel free for comments.
Thanks,

Nice, but the colors seem off. But PLEASE keep this one too.
I have 4 (yes, 4) versions of the Adjutant plane (green 3) of JG7, a pack I'm left to finish ASAP. There are numerous schemes of that plane, and they all look nice in their own way.
Also, check this site out, it has the correct early and late splinter schemes of the Me-262, altho, I dunno if they used any of the two on the replica.

I think that i can close the colour discussion here. I have contacted the 'Legend Flyers' team who actually build the 2 flyable 'Replica' of the Me262. Guess what?? I received a feedback, and I am proud to be able share it with you...
