NICE! How big is the texture?
Hello
Just wanted to show some shots of a 190 im texturing for future use in a game engine like ET:QW for some comments and suggestions
any opnions are fine.![]()
NICE! How big is the texture?
FAST AND BULBOUS!
niceif you have some polys left I'd like to suggest spending them on the wingtips, elevator and on the connection between vertical stabilizer. these areas would look much better with a more rounded surface. but the general appereance is very good
compared to the rest of the texture I'd increase the area behind the pilot seat, it doesn't hold up with the pixel density (especially when you have the highly detailed cockpit panel next to it)
Nice all around, and it's a nice capture of the Fw190 in a low poly model also. I do agree on the area behind the cockpit, it's lower resolution texture is the only area that seems short of detail.
Cheers guys![]()
The texture itself is 2048x2048, the guy modeling it learned alot from unwrapping this so my next project (theres also an F8 version to skin) a mossie Fb.VI, should be quite a fun machine to texture.
I have to agree now looking at the area behind the headrest, its taken heavily from il2 and needs to be redone, so that may be my project for this afternoon![]()
Your stuff is top notch Phas3e, looking really good. Have you thought about contributing to Targetware? Both 3d and 2d artists are in short supply over there. The Mossie would be of especial interest...![]()
here's a link to the forums

keep up the good work mate.
Nice one Harlequin, you beat me to it
Came on and check out Targetware Phas3e![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
been awhile since I did any more but heres some better renders.
The A-4 although not 100% in the screens is now finished and ive moved onto the F-8
I do like the looks of targetware and I love the details on the 190 void, but im afraid I dont have the time to do things as it is let alone try new ones
