    Re: Bright problem

I'm wondering if there is a 64 Bit version. Mine is 32 Bit but I'm using Win 7 64 Bit. When I run the program I get, for a very brief instant, the DOS box but the skin is still huge.
Is there a workaround? If not, what program would anyone recommend to replace the invaluable BRIGHT?

    Hi,

How are you launching the BRIGHT application?

I chose 32 bit for my Windows 7 install, but I do have access to a machine running the 64 bit version. I'll have to see if I can't test on it sometime.

    Re: Bright problem

I took the last version from my old computer (XP 32 Bit) and copied it onto the desktop of my new machine. I have always used Bright as a desktop program and not as a PSP plugin. the version I copied worked fine before.

    The folder contains two files,
A Bright Windows Batch File with the 'gears', 1KB in size.
A Bright Application File, 108 KB in size.

I place the 24 Bit converted file from PSP in the folder and run the Batch file. It doesn't seem to work any longer.
I went 64 Bit to 'future proof' my computer.

    Thanks for the assistance adlabs.
