    Drop Shadow Effects

    This tutorial is a quickie for the use of the drop shadow option in Paint Shop Pro.

    Start with you panel lines as shown, make sure that the layer your working is selected.

    Now go up to your Effects Browser as shown, scroll to 3D effects and then choose the drop shadow option.

    Once you have done the drop shadow you can then play with other filters, here I am playing with the glass filter to get the desired effect IM looking for with regards to the lighter edges along my panel lines as shown in this screen shot.

    Here you can see I have made copies of the panel line layers for ease of work, this facilitates being able to change things mid stream in case you mess something up or have fat fingers.
    You can make as many layers as you want, it will make things much easier for you and can always be deleted later, or merged together if need be.

    Here you can see the finished project, it will appear to have 3D affect with regards to the panel lines them selves.
