Re: I-16 WIP
Very nice work indeed!
As been said before very subtle and a nice blend of weathering/highlights/colors. Looking very good.

Re: I-16 WIP
It is nice
I just think that Russian planes painted that shade of green look 'fake' anyway - it's not your fault!

Re: I-16 WIP
Do you mean you don't like the colours that are generally used to represented AII Green and Blue because they're inaccurate or because they're ugly. Or both?
I know the colours I've used here are incorrect.

Re: I-16 WIP
Here's a first finished model. As I just finished the template, I didn't want too much work, so I just slapped a Chinese roundel on it

This I-16 type 10 belonged to the 24th Chungtui, IVth Tatui, and was part of the group that encountered Japanese A6M Zeroes on 13 December 1940.
I'm not sure of the unit nomenclature, as I translated it from some French. More to come.

Re: I-16 WIP
Very very nice gamary... can I just make a suggestion? Just drop the shade on the white a little, At the moment the white lines on the tail blend into the white mask.

Re: I-16 WIP
I had noticed that part about the white. It's a stupid mistake, too.
It's just that I was too lazy to correct it. It was 2.30 AM though.
Good eye, though. And thanks for nailing me on that. I deserve it.
