    Question Colours on RN Seafire?!

Is this the correct colours used on RN Seafires?

    Light Slate Grey 115-122-108
    Sky 182-196-171

    Thanks a lot mate.

Now while I'm at it. Does the Mk.VIII skin fit on the Seafire, or do I need to find one special for that one?

Hmm, rgr Kris. It's just because I've seen people write that templates worked for Mk.VIII and etc....
I've found one Seafire template here, all metal though. But I will take a look at that one to see if I can use it for my needs.

The seafire template here comes with layered cammo.
with Servals colours using gradient map, it should look like this--->

Smile Re: Colours on RN Seafire?!

Yup downloaded it just after I posted my last reply.

One thing though, it look too bright, like someone spilled milk all over it or what shall I say?! Compared to these...

anyway it's a brilliant and first class template and it will be the one I will use for this next project.

    Re: Colours on RN Seafire?!

Found the layer which caused it.

Added FBS's internal Spit/Seafire layer and it's already looking good.

BTW, the All metal layer is awesome. Did the RAF have any Seafires in bare metal?

No idea, was made for personal use not historic skins.

    Re: Colours on RN Seafire?!

There was one all metal MkIII that I know of, Lt Cdr G Baldwin (NN300, D5-0) 807 NAS

As for camo colouring, dark sea grey, slate grey, extra dark sea grey, extra dark slate grey, ocean grey and dark green were the main colours used on the upper surface with either sky or medium sea grey on the lower surfaces
    Regards

    Chris
