    Added the most of the panel screws, the tail markings, the nose art, and the exhaust system.

    Time for a weekly update. Adjusted the location of the exhaust stacks and added a smoke trail, added the machine guns, fixed the "R"s, added the gap between the spinner and the fuselage, and added a canopy.



    Also, started working on this as a Christmas present for my dad....

    Was looking through my reference files and thought of this project. Not sure if you are still working on this profile, if you are, I thought these images might be of use to you. They show some nice detail and the general state of these machines.

    I try to avoid making any markings other than national insignia crisp and straight, in reality they usually look as though they were applied with a mop.(maybe a slight exaggeration but you now what I mean.)

    Thanks for the reference pics. Right now, the P-51 is on the backburner in favor of the Seawolf profile. Hopefully, I'll be able to start back on the Mustang after the first of the year.
