    Re: Doodlings.......

Please leave some RAF stuff for us to draw! Very good looking. I like the Canberra especially: she's a real beauty. Any more info about it (squadron, location?)? I'd never seen it with such colours.

As for the Tornado, the shape seems odd to me, but I think that because the canopy is just plain white for the moment.

    Re: Doodlings.......

its a 39sqn 'Berra' PR9 only retired last year all i can say is the skies over britain ain't the same without her majestic lines and flawless beauty, sad to see her go that was. and the berra he has represented i was at Kemble when she touched down, and yes it did bring a tear to my eye, same as the Jags did more recently. XH131 - Sqn Ldr Dave Piper/Wg Cdr Clive Mitchell the last people to fly this beauty in RAF Service.

Just to add to the mix of things I started this today.

I think the Torni is one of those that always will look slightly out in profile.
That big paddle on the back throws my eye every time.
Very nice work so far Sparty, nice set going there.
We (Phoenix) have got a real hunger for the "overgrown fireworks" of late and I can't see the bug leaving for some time.

If these are the "doodlings" I look forward to seeing the serious attempts.

I can't work in multiples, as soon as I do, I start to loose interest in the profile that is nearing completion, its happening now with the MK XVI, as I turn my attention to the next profile, which I have narrowed down to about 75 types. (memo to self: must finish XVI)

I have a slight variant of that: the more I work on a profile, the more I'm aware of the things I did wrong on it and the more it exasperates me. After a time, I find it almost repulsive and have to go on to something else. I must be a masochist or something like that.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean... ? Is it that you'll only draw modern pipe-driven aircraft for the foreseeable future?
