    Question Vietnam and Modern Aussie Army colors?

    Hi, I'm new here, great site btw, and was wondering if someone could help me. I was wondering if anyone knew the RGB, CMYK or Hex numbers for the olive drab the Australian Army used for their planes in Vietnam and the modern three tone camouflage on their Tigers and NH-90s. I've been loking everywhere and cant seem to find what I was looking for. I was even going to email the Australian Army but I cant find the right contact. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    I'm sorry, but I don't have this information.
    Try andfind the FS (Federal Standard) numbers for these colors. It's most likely that FS colors were used or that someone translated the colors to those numbers.

    Probable scale modellers and/or IPMS can help to get those numbers. With that you can look up the RGB values here.

    I served 13 1/2 yrs in the Australian Army but sorry dont know the colour values (not my job) but a VERY quick google serch turned up these colours for the Armys vechiles:

    Disruptive Pattern Paint Colours.
    a. Camouflage Green - Olive Drab Lustreless. Used since November 1967;
    b. Camouflage Brown - US Federal Standard 30219;
    c. Black - US Federal Standard 37038.

    I think your problem is that your looking for the Army whn you should be looking for thr RAAF

    Thanks! it probably turned out that we found the same source. I had a friend In Australia who wanted a OV-10 in the current color scheme on like the Tigers and NH90s and I was also working on solid green one like Turbo Porter and the N22s. Although camouflage would be better for a FAC aircraft, like the Winjeel. If any of you play FSX, i can make the former repaint available if you want it.
